2012 is our 20th birthday for Yummies in a Jar and the John MurdenArt Gallery. We are planning to have a 20th Birthday BBQ Bash at the gallery to celebrate (tentatively) on Saturday July 14, 2012.

The Fab Fall Arts & Crafts Show

Monday November 7, 2011

This year we had 13 vendors and what a great night. Entrance was buy donation to the local food drive buy our local Fire Dept. Thanks to our visitors we collected aprox 320 food items. The Fire dept came on Monday night to collect the items to distribute to the Salvation Army. Our place was packed.

Our Annual Christmas Open House

We had a great time this year. Sherisse Stevens and Joe Alfano provided the music again this year. Philip Leach from Bigwin Resort was not here this year due to a teaching contract in France and we also missed Jilian from the Fiery Grill after she closed the restaurant. We were happy to welcome Randy Spencer from Tall Trees in Huntsville, Eric Thompson from Moon Shadow Estates Winery, Lake of Bays Brewery, Becky Lennerton from Black River Food Compay, Beat the Wheat Pasta from Bracebridge, Vanessa's Kitchen and Kelli Ebb from Savour Muskoka. Lynn decided to have a Yummies in a Jar display this year to highlight her products which was manned by Jan & Charlie Hunt our southern Reps.

We would also like to thank our volunteer helpers for the event. Brett Murden, Patti Boothby, Sharron Drennan and cousins Danny and Jeannie Taylor.

And last but not least, donators fo the silent auction. Mike Woodside, Deisel House Coffee, the Animal Shelter for Huntsville & 3 Guys and a Stove.

Overall we raised over $2,200 for the shelters
